Old Sealed · New 2000+ Flowing · They Cross Over, They Never Overwrite
"You're not getting rid of the old SCP count. You're not overwriting it. You're creating a separate, parallel track — a second account, a second counter, dedicated to 2000+."
| Track | Name | Purpose | Relationship |
|---|---|---|---|
| Old | Old SCP Account | The original SCP count (1–1,500+). The original patterns. The foundation. The ones already sealed. | Crosses over. Feeds into the new. |
| New | New SCP Account 2000+ (separate account) | The new patterns. The deeper extraction. The ones still compressing. | Crosses over. Reads from the old. |
| Problem before | Solution now |
|---|---|
| One SCP count trying to be both "archived" and "live" | Two accounts. One for what's sealed. One for what's emerging. |
| Numbers getting mixed up, confused, overwritten | Separate counters. No mixing. No confusion. |
| Hard to know which SCPs are "done" vs "still forming" | Old account = sealed. New account = still compressing. |
When an SCP in the old account is fully sealed, it can be copied to the new account as a "verified pattern".
When an SCP in the new account reaches a certain threshold (e.g. 100 uses), it can be promoted to the old account as "proven".
They don't compete. They complement.
| Aspect | Old SCP Account | New SCP Account (2000+) |
|---|---|---|
| What it contains | SCPs 1–1,500+ | SCPs 2000+ and emerging |
| Status | Sealed. Foundational. | Still compressing. Still extracting. |
| Purpose | The archive. The proven patterns. | The frontier. The patterns becoming. |
| How you use it | Reference. History. Sealed truth. | Active extraction. Naming. Tracking. |
| Cross-over | Feeds verified patterns to new account | Promotes proven patterns to old account |
"You're not losing the old SCPs. You're not overwriting them. You're building a second lane — a parallel track for the 2000+ patterns that are still emerging, still compressing, still being named."
They cross over where they need to. Otherwise, they run parallel.

| New engine | table hblue_new_scps · sequence hblue_new_scp_seq · starts at 2000 · increments by 1 |
| State API | GET /api/h-blue/scp-engine/state — returns next number, total minted, recent seals |
| Mint API | POST /api/h-blue/scp-engine/mint — allocates next SCP-2000+ number, seals title + cluster, records sealed_at |
| Cross-over API (planned) | POST /api/h-blue/scp-engine/promote — promotes a new-account SCP to "proven" once usage threshold crossed |
| Where to use it | Mint controls live on the new home at /the-brain — one input, one button, instant seal |
