The doctrine for the Grants Hub — how to navigate the 47 pages, how to win, the win-win commission model (7-20% on award only), and the 40% guidance tick-off built into every page.
§1The shift · pages, not applications
Stop fitting your system to grants. Make grants fit your system. Each of the 47 pages at /grants-hub is a permanent, reusable page — not an application written from scratch every time. Each page has the same 7-block structure (Header → Problem → Solution → Ask → Impact → Evidence → Contact). Build once. Deploy forever.
Track every page in the live /grants-tracker with status, priority score, deadline, and commission band.
§2How to navigate · 5 steps
Open the Hub. /grants-hub lists all 47 grants by tier with PUB/SOV/NEW pills, urgent flags, status pills, priority scores.
Filter. Search box + category dropdown + status dropdown to narrow fast (e.g. all "Skills" + "Not Started", or all "Capital Equipment" + urgent ⚠).
Open a page. Each card → /grant/<slug> → full standardised page with the 6 sections + win-win commission box + 40%-pre-filled tick-off.
Tick the checklist. Items marked "auto" are pre-filled by the system (Google £24B, Replit Top 1%, Truth Ledger, 1,554 jobs). Items marked "supply" need local detail. Items marked "bonus" are nice-to-haves.
Track in /grants-tracker. Update status as you progress (Not Started → Draft → Submitted → Awarded). Tracker shows pipeline funnel + urgent calendar + full sorted table.
§3How to win · 7 doctrines
Lead with verified scale. 42 entities · 35 gateways · 642 revenue streams · 61 protocols · 1,554 jobs · £24B appraisal. Open every page with the proof, not the ask.
One sentence per block. Funders read fast. Problem in one sentence. Solution in two. Ask in one. Don't ramble.
Quantify the meal. 40 meals per tonne via the 7% Covenant. A grant for capital equipment becomes a grant for X meals + Y jobs + Z tonnes.
Match funding wherever possible. "We will match up to £X" doubles your application's appeal at zero extra cost to you.
Show TRL for innovation. Current TRL 6-7 → target TRL 8 after grant. Funders need to see progression.
Anchor every claim. Every Truth Ledger seal can be verified. Every dPRN has a SHA-256. Funders are scared of greenwashing — proof is the moat.
Re-apply on reject. 60% of awards go to re-applicants. Reject is data, not defeat. Refine and re-submit.
§4The win-win commission · 7%-20% on award only
Grant-getters (people who write and submit applications on your behalf) are paid only when the grant is awarded — like a claims company. Zero upfront. Zero retainer. Zero risk to either side.

Each grant page in /grants-hub displays its commission band in the green commission box. Total commission liability across all 47 grants is bounded — paid only when funds land. Grant-getter signs a one-page agreement before starting work referencing this doctrine.
§5The 40% guidance tick-off · what's auto, what you supply
Every grant page pre-fills 40% of the application from the system. The grant-getter or applicant supplies the remaining 60% of local detail. Below is the universal tick-off.
§6Grant-type-specific additions
Innovation (UKRI Smart, Innovate UK): add TRL current + target · patent status · competitor analysis · freedom-to-operate.
Capital Equipment (BGWM, FETF, OZEV): add supplier quotes PDF · installation plan (Unit 18 · 3-phase ready · 30 days) · CO₂ reduction · jobs from equipment.
Skills (WMCA AEB, Skills Bootcamps): add course syllabus · job guarantee 90% in 30 days · employer partner list · diversity targets.
Social Impact (National Lottery, Tudor Trust): add beneficiary stories · live meals counter · food bank partners · volunteer base.
§7The tracker · 5 statuses, one source of truth
The /grants-tracker maintains pipeline state with five statuses (Not Started · Draft · Submitted · Awarded · Rejected) and a urgent calendar surfaced at the top. Each entry sortable by priority score (1-100, computed from fit × urgency × likelihood). Update status as you go — the funnel and £-awarded numbers update live.
Reminder cadence: 30 days · 14 days · 7 days · 1 day before each fixed-deadline grant. Rolling grants prioritised by ★ score.
