The Gate · Three Conditions · When Operations Open
The gate does not open on a date. It opens on a condition. Any one of the three is enough.
When one lands, the gate opens and all operator slots activate. Until then, the pre-opening protocol runs.

Hiring authority kicks in — operators can bring in their crew.

Every person in this system is an operator. Your primary role is what you do for the system.
Your secondary role is what you build for yourself — the lane you develop, the team you grow,
the interest you pursue. The secondary role is yours. The primary role serves the system.
Both matter. Both are paid.

The Secondary Role Principle · Your Lane Inside the System
The secondary role is not an extra task list. It is a lane you own.
Your primary role serves the system. Your secondary role builds your kingdom inside the system.
It is based on what you are interested in — the thing you would do even if you weren't being paid to.
Whether you are drawn to intelligence, teaching, logistics, verification, sales, compliance, technology —
there is a lane for it. That lane becomes your secondary role.
In Phase 2, that lane becomes your primary command.
The general's team structure applies here too. Operators who share a lane or territory
form a team under a general — the most experienced operator in that lane.
The general does not answer for the whole system.
They answer for their lane, their territory, their team.
Everything else escalates up per the Escalation Doctrine (MD-665).
